Proportion instructors have experience in project management in Construction disciplines such as architecture, Civil Engineering, as well as Information Technology, Finance & Banking, etc. This working experience provides for realism in training through sharing actual situations that have occurred in projects. Each instructor has 10 or more years teaching experience.
Proportion follows the International Project Management Association’s (IPMA) definition of project management as articulated by its USA Member Association, the American Society for the Advancement of Project Management (asapm). This model encompasses the project contextual and human behavioral aspects as well as the project technical elements to give a comprehensive understanding of project management in the workplace.
Proportion has tailored its courses of instruction over time to meet the continually evolving nature of project management. The course material is refreshed periodically to meet the needs of clients by adding new exercises and giving new examples of topics.
Proportion’s training is consistent with the IPMA’s international certification qualifications. Following Proportion’s project management course, clients have generally experienced over 75 percent pass rate in the IPMA Level D certification.
Proportion instructors are active members of asapm and contributors to the USA National Competence Baseline.
