Competence Enabler (CE) program is a fee-based marketing service for savvy Project Management solution Vendors, and a convenience for our members and visitors. We call them Competence Enablers (thanks to former Director of Education Donna Fitzgerald) because they are aligned with asapm's focus on PM Skills, Behavioral Attributes and Performance Competence development, and can help you move beyond a knowledge-based emphasis to actually improve your Project Managers' development. Note that inclusion in our CE program does not necessarily represent our endorsement of the services provided, just as with other registered vendor programs.

What Is A Competence Enabler?
A Competence Enabler is a Project Management products or services vendor who understands the difference between basic PM Knowledge, and the Skills, Behavioral Attributes and Competences needed to achieve consistent project performance. CEs have access to special versions of asapm's USA National Competence Baseline NCB), that identifies the minimum target levels of needed Knowledge, Skills, Behavioral Attributes and Competences needed to fill each level of asapm's Four-Level Competence-Based Project Manager Certification Program.
Competence Enablers can identify how their products, consulting services and training programs help support Project Manaqer and key project stakeholder career development, advanced Project Manager Certifications, and the individual Competence Elements or Groups of Elements individuals or Enterprises need.
Competence Enablers are eligible to receive custom versions of asapm's newest release of our Project Management CompModel, and can map their products or services to the NCB Competence Elements or Groups, and use the resulting customized CompModel with their customers or potential customers. This is an "everyone wins" benefit, because we see far too much PM training today that has little-to-no impact on the Competence Elements that organizations need the most.
