Intellectual Property
and Publication Policy

Purpose
The goal of the asapm Intellectual Property and Publications Policy is to promote and increase the exchang
e and development of information and technology in the field of Project Management. The means used by asapm to achieve these goals is to provide authors and intellectual property owners with attribution, compensation where appropriate, and/or other consideration for their contributions to asapm. The level of attribution and other consideration is a function of the scope of rights granted to asapm, as the following options illustrate:

Intellectual Property Rights Overview
The diagram below shows the relative rights for each of the asapm Intellectual Property Options; options on the left provide asapm with greater rights, generally for a consideration. Options to the right provide authors with greater rights.
